HistoryBody Works Physical and Aqua Therapy started in January 2015 and has been growing every since. Lisa M. Cerutti, Owner, Physical Therapist, Certified Aquatic Therapist, and Certified Yoga Therapist started aquatic therapy in a rented pool and quickly outgrew the space. She decided to build her own clinic with her own pool and hasn't looked back. The healing effects of the water coupled with land-based physical therapy have proven to have amazing results with patients. Patients also benefit from Lisa's yoga background and enjoy yoga as part of their treatment.SpecialtiesBody Works Physical and Aqua Therapy specialize in Aquatic Therapy and Physical Therapy. We begin therapy in a warm pool to help decrease pain and progress water exercises to strengthen, improve flexibility, and endurance. Each session incorporates the underwater treadmill to help improve walking in weightless environment. Patients then progress to land-based Physical Therapy to improve daily function. Every step of therapy is monitored closely and each patient is given a individualized treatment program.
