Open Door Family Medical Centers were founded in 1972 in the basement of the First Baptist Church in Ossining, NY. It was first operated as a free clinic, staffed by nearly 100 local volunteers. Now it has a professional staff of more than 60 at four health centers in Westchester County including Port Chester, Ossining, Mount Kisco and Sleepy Hollow, as well as, four school-based health centers in Port Chester.
The mission of Open Door Family Medical Centers is to provide quality health care and human services at affordable prices to the economically disadvantaged community.
