Founded in 1966, the Oak Orchard Community Health Center is a community-based facility that provides a range of medical care services. It practices in the areas of crisis intervention, family planning, pharmacy, prenatal case management and health education. The center also provides preventative, restorative and cosmetic dental care services. The Oak Orchard Community Health Center works with a team of more than 140 full and part-time staff members. Its team members include physicians, dentists, optometrists, opticians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, dental hygienists, nutritionists and outreach workers. The center also administers the Woman, Infants and Children (WIC) program, Comprehensive Prenatal Care Program (CPCP) and Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker Outreach Program (MSFW). The Oak Orchard Community Health Center maintains a location in Albion, N.Y.
