Established in 1879, Nyack Library maintains a collection of books, periodicals, databases, magazines, newspapers and reference materials. The library offers books on a variety of subjects, such as science, horror, religion and health. It provides services for children and adults through its various departments. Its children s department organizes story sessions, reading programs and leisure activities. The library also conducts workshops, theater activities, book discussions and gardening sessions for adults and students. In addition, Nyack Library offers computer and Internet classes. It provides various types of services that include interlibrary loans and computer access. Located in Nyack, N.Y., the library serves the Nyack School District.
