News Communications is engaged in publishing and distribution of advertiser-supported newspapers and magazines. The majority of the company's customers are located in the Washington, D.C., and eastern Long Island, N.Y., areas. NCI has two publishing subsidiaries, Dan's Papers and Capitol Hill Publishing Corporation. DPI publishes Dan's Papers, Montauk Pioneer, Dan's Magazine Hampton Style, Dan's Magazine Hampton Style Insider Guide and Dan's Magazine Hampton Sports. Capitol Hill issues the newspaper, The Hill. All publications are primarily controlled and are free circulations. The primary source of the company's revenue is selling advertising space in the publications.
