National Urban League is a community-based nonprofit organization established in 1910. The firm offers a five-point empowerment agenda that includes education, economic empowerment, health and quality of life, civic engagement, and civil rights and racial justice for African Americans. It provides services through a wide range of programs, advocacies and researches. The firm has more than 100 local affiliates in over 35 states and the District of Columbia. National Urban League offers diabetes testing, health care education, obesity prevention and smoking cessation tips. The center is headquartered in New York City.
