HistoryFounder, Mark Hersh, began in the DJ business while only 14 years old back in the mid 1970's. Just an assistant at that time, but he continued throughout high school and even while attending college. In the early 80's he began doing his own parties, still as just a hobby though. The work got more and more plentiful and the word of mouth worked so well, that the phone kept ringing, so Hersh Productions was created and a DBA was filed in 1987. The rest, as they say, is history. Mark has done parties at just about every banquet facility in the Albany/Schenectady/Troy/Saratoga/Glens Falls/Lake George region!SpecialtiesHersh Productions has handled thousands of Weddings and Banquets over the past three decades, and is proud to be on the referral lists of the top Saratoga Springs banquet facilities! With the personal touch being paramount, ALL events are performed by founder and mobile DJ veteren, Mark Hersh. Using a JBL powered professional and portable sound system, complete with lighting, there is no party too big or too small! Hersh Productions also specializes in 'Trivia Nights', 'Karaoke Parties', 'Open Mic Venues' with live acoustic acts, and nursing home/assisted living and senior center entertainment.
