History
I certified in the classical Pilates method in 1997 and set up my studio in the Upper West Side to teach privately. In 2001 I started the Pilates program at the 92STY and continue to teach there. In 2008 I began working at the Martha Stewart Center for Living at Mount Sinai hospital. MSCL specializes in applying alternative modalities to their elderly patient population. I received a grant to develop the first Pilates program at the center and currently am involved in a pilot trial study investigating the impact of Pilates based movements on improving balance and reducing the risk of falls.
