ABOUT THE MGAA MGAA Summary The Multicultural Golf Association of America, Inc, is a Not-For-Profit, 501 ( C ) ( 3 ) Corporation established on Long Island, New York in 1991. A recognized national authority on junior golf training clinics and empowerment program for boys and girls 7 to 17 years of age. By introducing young people from challenging circumstances to the sport of golf and its attributes and empower them with a vision and purpose for their lives. The MGAA recommends goal setting as a key to success. MGAA assist the youth to achieve their goals and climb the ladder for economic and social success. The MGAA's mission is to make golf available and accessible to all people, with the belief that learning the game of golf leads to positive character development, self-discipline, academic achievement, self-reliance, creativity, imagination, principles, values, and a balanced approach for the youth of America. The MGAA applies the sport of golf as an educational, training, and personal development tool to help both disadvantaged and the general population to bridge the gap between themselves and current-day American society. This is often achieved in partnership with public and private schools, community-based organizations, and corporate America, helping youth participants to define their vision, set goals, and establish principles and value systems.
