Recognized as one of the most affordable private colleges in the United States, Mercy College offers more then 90 graduate and undergraduate programs. The school is made up of five full campuses, the largest of which is in Dobbs Ferry. Its programs include Health and Natural Sciences, Occupational and Physical Therapy, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. "Our programs here will set up graduates for a career in any field," said Angela Nally, associate director of public relations for Mercy.
Last year marked the launch of their PACT program, in which nearly every first-time incoming freshman was matched with a faculty mentor. More than just an academic advisor, mentors are expected to help students with all aspects of college life, from financial aid to post-graduation career counseling.
Mercy has division II varsity athletics. For men, sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer and track and field. Women's sports are basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, softball, track and field and volleyball.
They offer Bachelor's and Master's degrees in more than 90 programs. Class sizes are generally small, with 70 percent having fewer than 20 students.
