September 28th my father in-law passed away and one week later on October 5th I was laid off from my job. I realized there was no better time than now to start researching opening my own business. Life is too short to wait for your dreams to come true. I worked on my business plan and started looking for invesors and grants - a very time consuming and very tedious process. I had it in my head to get all the money up front before starting. Well, that all changed when I got a call from a former customer - at home - to do work for him. I was shocked that he tracked me down at home, but that was my wake up call. Everything happens for a reason.
