The Town of Mamaroneck Fire Department is on Weaver Street, across from Saints John and Paul Chuch. Its current structure was completed in 1923, but the department was not officially incorporated until 13 years later.
The department covers an area of 5.17 square miles and provides several services, including response to fire calls, such as automatic alarms, suspicious/burning odors, gas leaks; auto accidents that require victim extrication; EMS calls; downed power lines; public assistance calls, like flooding, homeowner locked out of the house, child locked in.
The department's apparatus consists of two engines, one ladder truck, two rescue trucks and one fire boat.
