La vela is an Italian dining restaurant specializied in Southern Italian cuisine and wood fired pizza from Naples. Owner Antonio Mauro from Naples came together to introduce New York to their specialty pizza, food, hospitality, passion and an experience like you were in your own home.

Italian cuisine & Wood burning pizza! Our menu includes salads, appetizers, pasta, pizza, fish and meat entrees. All these that you can accompany with one of our fine selections of Italian and world wines. Our pasta is fresh and cooked to perfection. From traditional Lasagna to Linguine with clams, we try to make your experience in our restaurant as pleasant as possible. Pizzas cooked in our original brick oven imported from Naples will give you a true taste of a real Italian pizza. Seafood lovers will have quiet some options in our restaurant. Clams, mussels or octopus to start your dinner with and end it with our whole Branzino or pan seared fluke topped with shrimps and our special light sauce. We have a variety of vegetarian selections that expands from fresh salad to grilled vegetables.
