Kentstruction was started in 1981 by owner Kent Buell. He started out by going to BYU and taking some construction classes which he enjoyed. After graduation Kent took additional construction courses and worked for a contractor for 5 years getting hands on experience. His "Jewish" wife helped give him incentive to start his own business and he is forever grateful to her. As being a man of "Mormon" faith, the values he holds dear to him spill into his business life which creates very happy and satisfied customers. The National Association of the Remodeling Industry ( NARI ) is a wonderful trade organization to be part of. Kent has served as their President in 2001 and is now Chairman of the Board. They help the homeowner understand that there are contractors on Long Island that really care about their clients projects. In fact in 1992 Kent Buell became a Certified Remodeler, which is another benefit to Kentstruction's customers. In 2001 Kentstruction also earned the prestigious "Contractor of the Year" award, and received several write ups in local magazines. Kentstruction is a family business with two generations serving the community. On staff is a crew of six carpenters which have worked many years for the company, very dedicated and concerned with customer satisfaction. The company is able to handle the smallest job like installing a skylight up to adding an entire second floor or building a house from scratch ; lately the public has been requesting many kitchens and bathrooms. It is our mission to bring beauty and comfort to your home. After over two decades of experience Kentstruction has ironed out many of the wrinkles that come up during the construction process, and will strive to make each project a "good" experience for each and every customer.
