History
The history of our recruiting firm goes back with our Founder and Current CEO, Ken Sundheim. Upon graduating college, our CEO had no idea what a recruiter was or what they did. However, after taking a job at a large, bureaucratic company, Ken knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur. One day, he was visiting a girl friend for lunch. She worked at a PR firm in Mid-town Manhattan. This company shared open space with a recruitment and staffing company. After assessing the headhunters and recruitment policies at the firm, Ken went out and got a 100 page book on recruiting. Within 2 hours, KAS Placement (then called KS Consultation) had two clients and our CEO officially became a sales recruiter. Our executive search mentality still has that entrepreneurial feel to it. We believe that by hiring recruiters who treat our staffing firm as their own, we do a great service to both the job seekers and candidates our New York headhunters do business with.
