HistoryCollective Culture was created as a response to a need for traditional folk Latin dance and arts that's been missing from the public school system in NYC. We believe that teaching our youth about their roots through traditional dance and arts can help them find their place in this polarizing society.SpecialtiesCollective Culture NYC creates cultural experiences and exploratory activities that nurtures young people's desire to make a change and cultivate the skills necessary to reach positive goals. Our company focuses in program development and implementation that builds cultural intelligence. We believe that young people need a continuous support to help them push beyond their cultural boundaries and connect with others. Our curriculum offer sustained and meaningful support that help students build social intelligence, self-awareness, confidence and exercise self-control. It helps them become creative, engaged citizens and intellectual leaders and innovators.
