Joyce Furniture Store was found in the 1880s by Fred Joyce. In 1918 George W. Silvernell, a young vet returning home from World War I went to work for Mr. Joyce. By 1943 Mr. Joyce was ready to retire and sold the business to Mr. Silvernell. The business is still owned and maintained by the Silvernell family and continues to provide quality furniture crafted in the USA.
