History

Jennifer Loomis Photography started as a small portrait business. As maternity photography gained popularity, demand grew for Jennifer's work and she opened studios in San Francisco and Seattle, as well as traveled for clients. She is careful to create images that are unique and also help capture her client's special memory. As a former photojournalist, Jennifer is trained to capture those special moments that go beyond just a smile. Jennifer and her work have won numerous awards, been featured in numerous publications, and been the subject of interviews on television, radio and the internet. Her first book, Portraits of Pregnancy: The Birth of a Mother, was published in 2009 and is available on Amazon. She became a mother at 46 and like many of her clients, struggled to become pregnant so understands how truly special becoming a mother can be. Jennifer only uses local artisans, printers and framers and supports the communities she works in through donations and volunteering.
