Dr. Elaine Wan is the Esther Aboodi Associate Professor of Medicine in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology at Columbia University Medical Center, College of Physicians and Surgeons and attending physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. She is trained in Internal Medicine, Clinical Cardiology and is an invasive cardiac electrophysiologist. She is also a recipient of the American Heart Association Scientist Development Grant, grant support from the Foundation of Gender Specific Medicine, Columbia University Louis V. Gerstner Jr. Scholars Program, and Columbia University Provost's Grants Program for Junior Faculty who Contribute to the Diversity Goals of the University. She is vice co-chair of the Heart Rhythm Society Digital Health Committee and a member of the American Heart Association Committee on Electrocardiography and Arrhythmias. She has published over 77 manuscripts in high impact journals such as Nature Medicine, Circulation Research, Journal of Clinical Investigation and Journal of American College of Cardiology. She has written 3 book chapters and given invited talks around the world.
