Founded in 1972, James I. O'Neill High School is located in Fort Montgomery, N.Y. It enrolls more than 600 students in grades nine through 12. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, social studies and science. It offers various sport activities, such as football, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, indoor track, golf, cheerleading, tennis, skiing, cross country, hockey, baseball, volleyball, softball and equestrian. It has a wide variety of clubs, such as chess, computer, environmental, the National Honor Society and student council. It has a library, guidance center and a parent-teacher organization. Its guidance department assists students in the areas of self-knowledge, educational and occupational exploration and career planning. It offers nutritional breakfast and lunch to the students.
