Dr. Odom was born and raised on the Upper West Side and attended The Dalton School. She matriculated at Washington University in St. Louis for college, where she studied Biology, with a focus on Neuroscience, and graduated with honors. She returned to New York upon graduation and worked as a high school teacher prior to beginning medical school. She earned her medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and stayed to complete her residency at Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. Upon completing her training in general pediatrics, Dr. Odom joined Weill Cornell Medicine. She has a vast array of interests in general pediatrics and is particularly interested in preventative care. As a Certified Lactation Counselor, Dr. Odom is additionally passionate about assisting families who want to breastfeed.
