The Village of Irvington Police Department has 21 officers. The Chief of Police is Michael Cerone, Lieutenant is Michael Morano and the Sergeants are Michael Foley and Raube McDaniels. Chief Cerone is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
Their departments include: youth, patrol, detective, safety-seat installation, vin etching, bike unit and a boat task force.
The department takes pride in responding quickly to a variety of calls and are extremely community oriented. The Irvington PD sponsors recreation programs and four officers also coach high school sports. It also has four DARE-certified officers.
