Huntington Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital that provides a full range of inpatient, outpatient and specialized health care services. It offers a wide range of medical and surgical services, such as allergy and immunology, colorectal surgery, critical care, gastroenterology, neurology, neurosurgery, urology, ophthalmology, rheumatology and thoracic surgery. It also offers women's health services that include bone density testing, genetic counseling, mammography, nutritional counseling, psychosocial counseling, stereotactic needle biopsy and breast health services. Additionally, it offers emergency services, perinatal and child health services and screening programs. It is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, American College of Radiation Oncology and College of American Pathology. It is a member of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. The hospital was established in 1916 and is located in Huntington, N.Y.
