Habitat For Humanity ReStore

Open since 2002, the goal of Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk ReStore is to both raise money, and keep valuable construction and home improvement products out of the trash, instead offering them to the public at greatly reduced prices. Habitat for Humanity's ReStore carries a large assortment of new and slightly used building materials at low prices, including various window types, interior and exterior doors, kitchen cabinets, sinks, bathtubs, ceramic tiles and more. As the first ReStore on Long Island, the space is cozy but well organized, filled with perfectly good building materials available at 66% off the retail price. It accepts donations of new or very gently used building materials, supplies and appliances. These tax-deductible donations reduce waste at local landfills, save pickup fees, and ultimately help Habitat for Humanity build houses in Suffolk County for those in need.
