Established in 1881, Herrick Memorial Library supports the curricula and general program of the private sector of Alfred University. The library includes a collection of more than 250,000 books. It provides electronic access for over 35,000 journals and nearly 100 research databases. The library features a multimedia collection of approximately 1,000 titles. Herrick Memorial Library has a caf and computer, multimedia and study rooms. The library offers wireless access and a laptop lending program. It provides online and in-person reference services, as well as a range of interlibrary loans. Additionally, Herrick Memorial Library includes a selection of books on general works, religion, psychology, social science, music, language, literature and agriculture. The library features encyclopedias and dictionaries.
