Mount Sinai School of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology, located in New York City, provides care to patients in the hospital, as well as training physicians in anesthesiology. It has various divisions, such as cardiothoracic, human patient simulator, liver transplant, neuroanesthesia and obstetric anesthesia divisions. The department also offers orthopedic and pediatric anesthesia divisions, and additionally has pain management, perioperative services care and preadmission testing centers. It also offers a postgraduate education program in perioperative medicine.
