The Harrison Public Library is chartered by the State of New York to serve the Town-Village of Harrison. A library card is free to all Harrison residents, and those who work, attend school or own property in Harrison.
The library is a member of the Westchester Library System, and a Harrison library card is honored at all 38 public libraries in the system.
Microcomputers and various software applications are available for use in the Children's Department. Activities for toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children are offered throughout the year. The library has a community room that is available to civic and community organizations for meetings. Concerts, art exhibits and lectures are regularly scheduled in the room as well.
