Opened in 1980, GCR Audio was originally known as Trackmaster Audio. Trackmaster was designed by studio architect John Storyk and was the go-to studio for many world renowned acts like Rick James, YES, Barenaked Ladies, and the Goo Goo Dolls. The Goo Goo Dolls have always had a special connection to the studio. Prior to gaining international success, both members John Rzeznik and Robby Takac worked at the studio.
