Garden City Community Church Nursery School (GCCCN) is aimed at helping to guide children in their physical, emotional and intellectual growth, with an important goal of fostering the child's self-confidence.
A religious tone exists but no indoctrination of set beliefs.
The school is located in a specially designed wing of the church and each classroom has bathroom facilities and sinks. Children play in a fenced-in outdoor natural landscape. In the case of inclement weather, an all-purpose room is available.
Skills to be developed during the school year include social/emotional growth, language development and literacy, mathematical and scientific thinking, appreciation of the arts and music and physical development (fine and gross motor skills).
The school is divided into four periods: free play and project, story and music, snack and outdoor play.
Children must be 3 years old on or before Dec. 1 of the school year and must be toilet trained. Children of church families are given priority in admission. For more information or to arrange a tour, call the school office at the number provided.
