The Barry and FLorence Freidberg Jewish Community Center has served the Long Beach community for more than 50 years, providing educational and social programs and other services for families and people of all ages. The branch in the city offers an early childhood center, nursery school, after-school activities, summer camp, teen and day care and adult activities and education programs. The JCC facility is just around from the Long Island Rail Road station, the downtown business district and Long Beach City Hall, and is just a few blocks from the beach. Roni Kleinman is the director.
