The church, which celebrated its 225th anniversary in 2010, is home to programs such as Weekday Childcare and Nursery Center as well as the Ecumenical Lay Council Food Pantry, a volunteer charity group representing a cross-section of churches and synagogues in the area. It has more than 600 congregants, and is one of two churches, with St. Philip Neri, on the corner of Main and Church streets.
