Everybody Rides is a nonprofit therapeutic riding program that began in 1984 and is operational from Newark, N.Y. It provides recreational and therapeutic horseback riding to people with developmental disabilities. The program includes more than 10 horses that serve over 150 adults and children every week. Everybody Rides is approved by the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association. Everybody Rides provides various facilities that includes an indoor arena, and heated waiting and a viewing area. The program offers various types of riding, such as recreational, educational and hippotherapy. The program is operated by various professionals, such as horse leaders, sidewalkers and instructors.
