Fencers Club, established in 1883, is a world-class nonprofit organization in New York City that offers the highest level of training and competition in the exciting combat sport of fencing. With a mission to promote an inclusive and diverse community through fencing, the club provides free access to its state-of-the-art facility, world-class instruction, and all necessary fencing equipment to honorably discharged military veterans and active service men and women. Through their Veterans On Guard Fencing Program, Fencers Club aims to promote physical fitness, emotional well-being, and professional development while creating opportunities for veterans to integrate into the broader community through mentoring, sharing knowledge, and making a positive impact.
Aligned with the goals of the US Olympic Committee, US Paralympics, The Independence Fund, and the Department of Veterans Affairs, Fencers Club also strives to support disabled fencers by creating a pipeline for adaptive wheelchair fencing in New York City. With the program funded by a generous grant from the USOC VA and private donations, Fencers Club is dedicated to providing opportunities for men and women who have served or are currently serving our country to excel in fencing at all levels and contribute their unique experiences to the community.
