The Brooklyn location of The Family Center offers social, legal and health services to families in need. It offers a mentoring program, early childhood support, family support services and child welfare. A B-SWEL (Brooklyn Stay Well, Enjoy Life) program is also offered, which helps prevent or treat diabetes through weight loss support groups, nutrition workshops, a walking club, cooking workshops and more. Programs and services are made available through Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Office of Minority Health (OMH).
