The After School Corporation is a nonprofit organization that supports and coordinates various after-school programs in New York City. The organization connects schools, community groups and after-school providers with policymakers and funders. It is one of the first nonprofit organizations in the United States to create a citywide after-school system that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. The After School Corporation funds, monitors and evaluates various programs in public schools in New York City. The organization designs programs that offer children a variety of artistic, scientific, athletic and culinary experiences. The After School Corporation additionally administers academic enrichment, community service, and health and fitness programs.
