Located in Yonkers, N.Y., Eugenio Mar a de Hostos MicroSociety School serves students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school works closely with various organizations, including Junior Achievement, Hudson Valley Bank, Juvenile Law, The Journal News - N.I.E. and Bronx Zoo. Eugenio Mar a de Hostos MicroSociety School offers student-run businesses, including a bank, courtroom, publishing center, government, library and media center, telecommunications center and marketplace with student-manufactured items for sale. The school has its own constitution, government, elected legislative representatives and a municipal court to help students understand governmental functions.
