History
I have been providing quality Massage Therapy to my clients for the past 10 years. My business has grown, but my primary focus is still on listening and supporting my community of clients and addressing their needs. In 2014 I created my business name: Entwined Bodywork. It was named for my Mother who is an artist and Reiki Healer. She has a business named Entwined Artistry. She makes beautiful scarfs and blankets from fabric she weaves herself. She also taught me Reiki. As a Massage Therapist I'm always reminded that everything is connected in the body; muscles, bones, connective tissue, nerves, emotions, and they all work together to make us who we are. Everything is entwined. I think of that concept every time I work with someone. And, I think of my Mother and my teachers and fellow therapists and clients who have influenced my work and make me a better Massage Therapist.
Specialties
I believe we are all searching for balance in our lives. Whether it's finding the energy to get through our day with ease, or physically living without pain or discomfort, massage therapy can help restore that balance. I treat each person as an individual, listen to their goals and expectations, and create a session to fit the client. I make each experience unique by combining different massage and bodywork techniques. Deep Tissue Massage or Myofascial Release, opens up constricted muscles and connective tissue which improves posture and relieves pain. Swedish Massage relaxes the body and improves circulation. Lighter, energetic work such as Reiki and Shiatsu works to restore the energy of the body. I generally use a combination of these techniques with the goal of bringing the body back to balance and comfort.
