People come to therapy for different reasons; some come to alleviate suffering, others to gain deeper understanding of themselves or solve a problem that is impeding the ability to have the life they want to live. For each of my clients the focus will vary depending on an individual's needs and situation. My goal is to provide a safe and warm environment that fosters exploration and growth. The approaches that inform my work are founded in psychodynamic therapy as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I obtained my degree from the University of Chicago and have worked with a diverse clientele. My background as a former professional performing artist also allows me to understand the unique challenges that people face in the creative arts fields.Specializes in:Depression, Anxiety, Mood Disorders, Psychosis, Pregnancy/Infertility/Post-Partum, Executive Functioning Issues, Performance Anxiety, Self-Esteem, Social Phobia
