Elmwood Franklin School, located in Buffalo, N.Y., is an independent nonprofit school. Founded in 1889, the school was associated with the Department of Pedagogy at Buffalo State College, formerly known as Buffalo Normal College. It offers a variety of educational and cocurricular programs to students in prekindergarten through grade eight. Elmwood Franklin School offers various programs, including English, arts, vocal music, science, social studies, mathematics, and computer and physical education. It also provides Spanish and French, craft, cooking, dance and games, reading, writing, spelling and computer education programs. The school additionally offers language arts, ancient history, and algebra and geometry programs.
