Founded in 1983, Pahl House provides long-term residential treatment services for adolescent males. The facility offers health care services for chemically dependent individuals. It is a nonprofit facility that is licensed by the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. Pahl House works with a team of psychiatric nurse practitioners, medical doctors, recreation therapists, social workers, and alcoholism and substance abuse counselors. The facility serves more than 10 adolescent males between age 13 and18. It offers treatment services for stabilizing crises, establishing abstinence, fostering family stability, developing healthy support systems. Pahl House is a part of the Hudson Mohawk Recovery Center, which was founded in 1967 and operates over five alcoholism and substance abuse service offices throughout Rensselaer County, N.Y. Pahl House is located in Troy, N.Y.
