The East End Seaport Museum exhibits a variety of local seafaring artifacts including lighthouse lenses and displays of Greenport's fishing and oyster industries. The Maritime Museum is located in the former railroad station adjacent to the North Ferry Terminal. The mission of the East End Seaport Museum and Marine Foundation is "to recognize, restore and preserve the maritime heritage of the East End of Long Island, New York."
