The Kissam house property is central to many of Huntington's historical and educational societies. The property holds a room which summarizes the Kissam Family history and the property and barn are also used for various festivals, the wine tasting and the society's annual meetings. The house was first occupied by Dr. Daniel Whitehead Kissam, a physician from Oyster Bay. This property is open to the public for viewing, but is done only by appointments and with a small admission fee.
