Founder Chef Sangjin Park has worked and gained experience cooking in Korean and Japanese restaurants for 20 years. During his career, Chef Park developed his skills at various restaurants, learning various tastes and techniques through numerous exchanges of knowledge and ideas with colleagues that he met along the way. For Chef Park, his greatest happiness lies in seeing the joy that his dishes bring to his customers. Today, Chef Park is able to stand with confidence as a chef in knowing that he can share this happiness with all of his customers.

With its very first location in Queens, NY, DongWon brings a high end Korean sashimi course experience to the people in an intimate and private environment. Our sashimi course features the freshest of fish, both locally sourced, as well as brought in from all over the world. At the bar, our Sushi Chefs serve you directly, guiding you through the meal, and providing a truly exclusive experience. The high-end cuisine is greatly complimented by our selection of Korean Soju, imported Sake, and rare Japanese Whiskeys.
