Alexander J. Gromack is Supervisor of the Town of Clarkstown. He is the chief executive and fiscal officer of the town. He is responsible for the daily operation of the town government and is a member of the Town Board. Gromack was elected in November 2004. He is a former member of the state Assembly (1991-2004) and was a member of the Rockland County Legislature (1983-1990). He attended Clarkstown schools, graduating from Clarkstown North H.S. in New City and received his Bachelor of Science from St. John's University in 1976.
