Cornell Cooperative Extension links individuals, families, communities and businesses to practical, research-based knowledge from Cornell University. Its programs focus on improving lives and communities, increasing economic vitality and enhancing environmental quality. Its activities and programs are based primarily on the results of research being conducted in Cornell University s statutory colleges and units, including College of Human Ecology, Division of Biological Sciences, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, the Agriculture Experiment Stations at Ithaca, N.Y., and Geneva, Ill., and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Its extension professionals also draw from interdisciplinary work being conducted in Cornell University s other colleges and units as well as from universities across the United States and the Department of Agriculture. Cornell Cooperative Extension is located in Ballston Spa, N.Y.
