Founded in 1897, Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum is a museum of history and contemporary design. The museum s collections include more than 250,000 design objects. It has a library that has a collection of more than 70,000 volumes, including books, periodicals, catalogs, and trade literature dating from 15th through 20th century. Its photography section has a collection of more than 13,000 drawings and over 50,000 photographs. Additionally, the museum offers Master degree program in the decorative arts and design. The museum has a gift shop that provides a wide variety of art books, gifts, tableware, jewelry, accessories and glassware. It hosts various conferences, seminars and educational workshops for individuals and students. Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum is located in New York City.
