Concerned Community 4 Change (CC4Change) is a Brooklyn-based organization dedicated to empowering and supporting local youth through sports mentoring programs. With a focus on basketball, CC4Change has successfully produced talented athletes who have gone on to play professionally and at the collegiate level, including Naquwan Solomon, DJ Johnson, Quincy Lonnie Maloney, and Leshown Hallums. In addition to their sports programs, CC4Change also organizes community events and initiatives, such as the Summer Basketball Tournament and the renaming of St Andrews Park Basketball courts to the Connie Hawkins Courts, honoring NBA legends and Afro American heroes.
As an integral part of the Brooklyn community, CC4Change continues to make a positive impact by providing opportunities for young athletes to develop their skills, pursue their dreams, and become successful individuals both on and off the court. Through their dedication and commitment, CC4Change strives to create a supportive village that raises its children prepared for the challenges of life, while also promoting health and wellness through programs like martial arts kickboxing and educational events like the Back to School Event.
