Community Voices Heard (CVH) is a member-led organization based in New York State, dedicated to achieving racial, social, and economic justice for all New Yorkers. Comprised primarily of women of color and low-income families, CVH tackles challenging issues through grassroots organizing, leadership development, policy changes, and the promotion of direct democracy, working towards creating a truly equitable New York State.
With a focus on housing justice, equitable development, economic justice, and amplifying the voices of Black women, CVH strives to build power and advocate for marginalized communities. Through their various chapters and dedicated staff, CVH engages in impactful work to preserve public housing, promote fair economic opportunities, and create a more inclusive society for all.
