Burlington Technical Center is an institution that provides technology and career education to high school and adult students. The training offered by BTC is approved by the Federal Aviation Administration. The students who complete the aviation program can enroll for additional training in airframe and powerplant systems on a tuition basis, which is also available at its facility at the airport. The two-year program is designed to provide instruction in a wide variety of skill areas related to the aviation technology field, including basic aircraft maintenance, principles of aerodynamics, flight electronics , troubleshooting, drawing, metallurgy, physics of flight, and trends and careers in the aviation industry. The various programs offered by BTC includes auto body repair, automotive science and technology, aviation technology, computer systems, professional foods, design and illustration, design build, electronic recording art, human services, mechanical engineering and design technology, medical and sports sciences, principles of enginnering, architecture and construction and welding. Burlington Technical Center is located in Burlington, Vermont.
