Christ Lutheran Church has served Lutheran families in and around Wantagh since its first service was held on Thanksgiving in 1926. The church's current building was dedicated on Feb. 7, 1954 and has undergone renovations and additions over the years. The Christian Nursery School of Christ Lutheran Church was established in 1953 and offers programs for children two-and- a-half to four years old. The church's pastor is Rev. Martin R. Nale.
